Alzheimer’s Society – Trek26

What is Alzheimer’s Society?

Alzheimer’s Society is a society made up of people with dementia, carers, experts, campaigners, researchers and clinicians. They are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by helping those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

What is Trek26?

Trek26 is a 26 mile hike to fundraise for Alzheimer’s Society. The Trek is designed to honour loved ones and bring help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Why is this charity important?

Cathy walked the 26 mile route around Salisbury and Stonehenge with a group of walking friends because they have relatives who are suffering, or have suffered, from this cruel disease. As a group, they have already raised £2,800 which will help to pay for vital services and research into treatments to improve the lives of those living with dementia.
